Description
Land Drain is used to cure waterlogged areas in gardens or other landscaped areas such as sports fields.
The perforated pipe allows water to enter through the small holes.
In construction, Land Drain is used to remove surface water from around buildings to prevent flooding. Without this in built up areas, standing water can increase the static load on underground structures and retaining walls – causing damage over time. Installing land drain to remove the excess water relieves this pressure.
Our products are a single wall, perforated land drain pipe , which is used as a collection drain for the removal of excess surface water to a suitable collection point.
Our land drain is not suitable as a dispersal drain
All of our land drain sizes are sold by external diameter.
It is recommended to use a non-woven geotextile membrane to line the trench during installation. This prevents fine soil from entering the land drain, which could cause a blockage that will be difficult to clear in the future.
